Are you facing a warning message on your creator application? that says ” Are you sure you want to exit? Your changes will not be saved ” followed by two buttons “Yes” and “No”. If so, you need to rectify your creator code immediately because this is an additionally warning message added by Zoho Creator to notify the users about the accidental close of the window and to prevent data/change loss.
This is not a normal warning that you can ignore, it may lead to the loss of your precious data in the Creator Application and data loss means losing money.
Recently, a few of our clients from Australia, who are using the Zoho creator application to manage their transportation business on a daily basis. And yesterday, they started receiving an error in their application. We got notified by some of their staff members, that they are receiving this error in their application when they try to update something on a popup window in the application.
As a Zoho consultant, now it’s our duty to handle this error and rectify the issue. we spent a few hours on this issue to see why they are facing this issue suddenly. all the application was working fine 2 days ago and no code changes were made, but still, creator users are facing this issue. So, we found out that there is a new warning message released from the Zoho Creator team to prevent accidental loss of data.
The next challenge was to update the application code in a way that the application should keep working as it was and should not show the message again. So our team of Zoho Experts, took charge and started working on this and resolved the warning message ” Are you sure you want to exit? Your changes will not be saved ” within a few hours. Now clients are happy and our team got appreciated too 🙂
